I founded Gettin’ Grubb Outfitters in 2019 with the idea of sharing my passion for the outdoors that has been passed down to me throughout my family for generations. Since I was a little kid I have always been fascinated with alligators so when the opportunity presented itself to both share my passion for the outdoors and do so while hunting what I consider to be one of the most unique animals in North America, Gettin' Grubb was born. From our awesome guides to the real rockstar of the operation (my wife Megan) you will be treated like family from the moment you step on our property. You may even be greeted by our company mascots Moose (chocolate lab) and Honey (golden retriever) all in an effort to show that our passion is people and making your FL hunting experience everything you could possibly imagine. I am so blessed to have so many incredible people apart of this team and hunting with us is a decision you will never regret as we truly go above and beyond in all facets to make sure everyone leaves with memories that will last a lifetime.

What does a typical hunt look like?
A day at Gettin' Grubb starts with a hot breakfast being served first thing in the morning before heading to whichever ranch we plan to hunt that day. We may hunt multiple ranches in a single day depending on the targeted trophy and how many hunters we have.
Turkey hunting takes place mostly the first couple hours after daylight and before dark while alligator hunting is done mostly from mid morning to late afternoon so these hunts can be combined. Lunch will be served out in the field whether it be grilling out on one of the ranches or eating custom ordered Publix subs. Once, we finish hunting that day we will transport the trophies to the processor and head back to the lodge for a home cooked meal to end the day.
